Diane had her silverscreen big break as Helen of Troy in the movie Troy. Prior to this Diane studied ballet at the Royal Ballet in London, but stopped due to an injury. She then got her start as a model after she moved back to Germany. Her modeling career was successful but ventured into acting on the suggestion of French filmaker Luc Besson. Diane seems to have found her niche in acting. Her growing resume includes films such as Troy, Wicker Park, National Treasure, Copying Beethoven, Goodbye Bafana and The Hunting Party.
